Advise and manage changes for 12 products in the CDK portfolio that handle motor vehicle sales and lease taxes in various jurisdictions.Monitor laws and regulations regarding auto dealers in all 50 states, Canada, and some Caribbean countries.

-Created a Slackbot that will deliver notifications when laws passed in any of the 50 states based on subject.

-Built a Python web application that calculates motor vehicle lease taxes for all US States and Canada.

Built and maintained the product responsible for the ingestion of all images and data for the company’s proprietary information engine. Responsible for the coordination of five product owners working with cross functional Scrum development teams, comprising the platform for a proprietary data extraction and translation engine for consumer product goods.

Advised all products in the ADP portfolio that calculate sales or VAT taxes on calculation changes that are necessary based on changes in tax laws for all US jurisdictions and some international jurisdictions. Reviewed areas that begin to approach regulated areas, usually to avoid need for legal support. Managed a very successful product that acts as a sales tool for Sales People and F&I Managers to sell aftermarket products, service and maintenance products, and insurance.

Had a civil practice centering on real estate, property, tax, estate and small business matters. -Successfully attached judgment to successor in interest of dissolved corporation, dependent on analysis of financial outflows to successor.

Served as director of Information Technology for 5 years. Prosecuted several finance intensive cases, usually involving embezzlement, including the conviction of the CFO of Mazak Corp. (America). Lead Prosecutor for drug cases, especially conspiracy charges for distributions. Won verdicts against three separate bars. One was forfeited to the state based on the owner’s complicity with drug dealing.
